During my exchange semester i took a class called "sound and electronics in theater". This is a commercial strip with many ethiopian bar-restaurants, outside of which men gather to smoke and have conversation. This recording was made near a large windturbine, which is located right next to a highway. I am not a professional audio producer. I sometimes make recordings with a zoom h5 recorder. After many years of downloading and using sounds of other people i want to contribute something myself. Maybe this will be useful for someone.

A sound i initially made for scp containment breach's ambiance sounds when i had first had the zoom h6 (2019 december, i regularly sound mod old games to gain learning experience of the encoding, the resampling quality of that engine and the internals and since then i've improved in many places). The actual recording is the pressure sound of water going down its sinkhole, filtered as to "muffle" the sound due to the design being that behind a wall and catching the attention of the player likely leading to their death by scp-173 but also was done to boost its bass and it gives a sort of comfortable, releasing feel.

These are claps recorded by three people at the same time. The kind of soft but very fast clapping that you would put in a spanish flamenco song or (as it was the case for the session) an argentine folklore song (chacarera). Soft clap — very tight, soft hitshard clap — tight, hard hit. Soft group — a little less tight, sounds like many people, still softhard group — less tight, many people, hard hit. Soft supergroup — i put three takes of this at the same time (one l, one center, one r), some hits sounded better than others so i picked the ones that sounded the best. Soft hits. There are so many loud machines and the background music is so loud that you can hardly make out individual sounds and the entire space is just a wash of noise.
